On May 7, 2000 I started updating my wavsite with a new wav daily. At the time my site was on Xoom.com, but was yanked for some (unknown to me) reason on May 14, 2000. On May 15, 2000 I signed up for a site on 50megs.com and have been happily updating every day since. Here are all the wavs from the beginning - May 2000 - June 2000 - July 2000 - August 2000 - September 2000 - October 2000 - November 2000 | |

November 1, 2000 sicko - 31k - Female "You're a total sicko, you pervert." Today is Larry Flynt's birthday. 'Nuff said. The question is would he take this as a 'compliment'? November 2, 2000 titshot - 35k - male "Look! Here comes the obligatory 'tit' shot!" Punz and Elf rented 2 videos last night. Both movies were bad! "8 1/2 Women" was plotless, pointless, and not enough decent 'tit' shots to make it interesting to the average guy! And "Beowulf" would have been a lot better with Rutger Hauer (Punz's choice) or Adrian Paul from the Highlander tv series (Elf's choice) as the title character. And no good 'tit' shots in it either!!! Not that 'I' personally am interested in that sort of thing... November 3, 2000 aboutime - 13k - Elf has been working feverishly on his update, so that's why I'm late with this one. Elf's update consists of several George Strait wavs, go check it out! I chose this wav because he had up a Halloween theme, and as far as taking it down... "It's about time." November 4, 2000 machgun - 9k - Sound effect, Machine gun being fired. A really cool thing occured today in 1862. The first machine gun was patented by Richard Jordan Gatling. This is an easy event to wav about so here it is. I am kinda dissapointed though because in 1922 Howard Carter found the first signs of what proved to be King Tutankhamen's tomb in the Valley of the Tombs of Kings in Egypt. But I of course was not able to find Steve Martin's King Tut. I'll have it next year though. At least I hope I will. November 5, 2000 wav2day - 98k - This is Elf, Punz, and I deciding on today's wav. Heheeheee... November 6, 2000 gopack - 49k - "Go Pack Go!" Tonight's 'Monday Night Football' game is between the Green Bay Packers and the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings are looking pretty good this year, but we will be rooting for the Packers. Punz is originally from Wisconsin so we have to keep the little cheesehead pixie happy. "Go Pack Go!" November 7, 2000 jfk - 81k - John F. Kennedy "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country." Today is Election day in this place we call the United States of America. You could agree with Don at My Fave Wavs or you could agree with Elf. Don is voting for George W Bush. Elf is voting for Al Gore. Don speaks about restoring dignity in Washington. Elf speaks about DWI, allegations of cocaine use, and the questionable methods that George W. made his millions. All I have to say is that we have a duty to our country, vote, please. Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country. neener - 28k - Punz made me do it. This is dedicated to all the Minnesota Vikings fans who got beat in last night's game against the Green Bay Packers. "Neener, neener, neener." November 8, 2000 fatlady3 - 14k - Will Smith from Independence Day "I aint heard no fat lady!" Florida is kinda a fat lady, 25 Electoral college votes come on, kill the suspense lets get a President Elect. This one is so up in the air nobody can say what's going to happen. "I aint heard no fat lady!" November 9, 2000 hulk - 63k - Television announcer "The raging spirit that dwells within him." Lou Ferrigno as the Incredible Hulk "RRROOOWWWRRR!!!!! Happy birthday Hulk. Today is Lou Ferrigno's birthday. Nothing political about that. cetones - 54k - Tones from "Close Encounters of the Third Kind". Today was also Carl Sagan's birthday. November 10 - 11, 2000 ummm..... November 12, 2000 truth - 37k - from 'A Few Good Men', Tom Cruise "I WANT THE TRUTH!" Jack Nicholson "YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH!!" I am disappointed with all the finger pointing and name calling in association with the election mess in Florida. Al Gore and George W are going back and forth with "Count the votes in Florida again", "Then count the votes in Oregon, Wisconsin, Iowa, and New Mexico again", "If you do I'll sue", and "Well then I'll sue too". Why hasn't George W been the 'bigger' man and pushed for a re-vote? Is he so unsure of himself that he is afraid he will lose? I thought he was behind 'honesty in the government'? If the presidency was given to him today would he really want the stigma of a possible miscalculation clouding his term in office? What would stop Al Gore from pushing for impeachment because of an illegal ballot? The obvious solution should be to let the voters in the disputed counties go back to the polls with a different ballot to make their choices be known clearly! rrdiapers - 127k - Lou Hirsh as Baby Herman in 'Who framed Roger Rabbit?' "The whole thing stinks like yesterday's diapers." November 13, 2000 It's Monday the 13th! AAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!! wakeup2 - 47k - a real Seven (of Nine! From Star Trek:Voyager tv series) alarm clock "Get out of bed. Resistance is futile. Wake up and assimilate the day." I needed one of these this morning. I would like mornings better if they started later! |
